Canton Film strives to recognize and support the often-overlooked creative community of Northeast Ohio by providing educational resources, networking, and opportunities to showcase the work of independent artists and filmmakers.

 The Canton Film Festival is proud to announce the winners of 2019 awards. Each award winner won a $200 prize and our Celebrity Jury Selected BEST OF THE FEST won a $1000 award. Scroll down to read about each film.

Best of the Fest

The Best of the Fest award was judged by a carefully selected jury of local film lovers, film programmers, film critics and filmmakers. The Jury awarded a special HONORABLE MENTION to FINAL CURTAIN and gave the Best of the Fest award to THE THING ABOUT BEECHERS GATE
